Jordan Hein

Jordan Hein is a sculptor whose work draws inspiration from the elegance of 19th-century French art while seamlessly integrating contemporary aesthetics.

Born in California and currently based in Old Lyme, Connecticut, his practice reflects a deep reverence for both the timeless beauty of classical architecture and the expressive power of figurative sculpture. Guided by a passion for the harmonious dialogue between form, space, and history, Jordan seeks to bridge the past and present, reimagining how classical ideals can inform and transform the art of today.

Artist's Statement:

To me, sculpture is more than clay, bronze, or stone — it’s a language. Through form and texture, it allows us to uncover something about ourselves, tell stories, and honor the memory of those who came before us.

Each piece I create begins with a search for a deeper narrative and emotional truth. From the first touch of clay to the final cast in bronze, every step of the process is done by my own hand. This hands-on approach ensures that the original vision — the story the sculpture wants to tell — remains intact from start to finish.
